Dear Farris:

I was pleased to learn from your recent announcement
that you have joined the firm in which Rey Richardson ls a partner.
It already was one of Florida's outstanding law firms and I am sure
that your presence will enhance its reputation.

Now that your onerous duties as Governor are over, per-
haps you will have a chance to relax a bit. You certainly had many
problems during your tenure, all of which you handled very well so
for as I could tell from the press accounts. But I am sure you are
glad to have them behind you, at least for a while'. You have my
very best wishes for success in your new venture.

Sincerely ,
