Susan is thrilled with being in her own home -- our rst.
Enclosed are a few eheete of the old Governor's Office stationery
which I commandeered the last day on the job for the purpoee of
securing a letter of recommendation from you for my portfolio. I
would be very grateful if you would do this for me. I was very proud
to have had the opportunity to work for you.
Susan was heartbroken that she did not have an opportunity to see the
miniature of your office before I delivered it to you. but she was already
here in Fort Lauderdale then. [was fortunate enough to eecure a number
of color elidee of it and ehe was those and was delighted to eee the end
product of what had kept me up nights for months! What did Mrs.
Bryant think of it?
Thought you would be interested in the rumor mill here that hints that
President Id'meon will appoint Senator Smother: to the Supreme Court.
and then Governor Burns will appoint you to the 11.8. Senate. That doesn't
