ARTICLE I.
NAME.
This association shall he known as
F.orida Bivouac No. 1 United Veter-
ans of the Blue and the: Gray.
The letters U. V. B- G., shall be the
proper abrevialion of said title.
The meeting of this association shall
be ca led au assembly.
ARTiCLE II.
SECTION 1 MEMBERSHIP.-The re-

ARTICLE III.
S c. 1 OFFICERS.--The officers of

pile and record all matters o' histor-
ical interest to the Bivouac or its
members, and shall make a report of
his doings at each annual assembly,
but may report as often as he ses

SEC 11 The Musician shall be in
charge of the music and attend to
the necessary calls.
ARTICLE VI,
The membership fee shall be One
Dollar, which shall accompany the
application.
The dues shall be fifty cents per
quarter.
ARTICLE. VII.
No political religions or other dis-
cussion shall be indulged in by any
conmrade while in the armory: or at







any Assembly elsewhere for the pur-
pose of drill, parade or business or
while "en route" as a company to or
from the same, nor shall it or engag-
in any sham battle.
ARTICLE VIII.
When comrade is sick and con-
fined to bed it shall he theduty of the
comrades to visit him and to render
him aid and assistance and if neces-
sary to sit up with him during the
night.
ARTICLE IX,
When a comrade who is in gocd
standing dies it shall be the duty of
all surviving comrades to attend his
funeral in a body and as a mark of
respect for the memory of the de-
ceased the comrades shall (on order)
wear the usual badge of mourning
for the period of 30 days.








ARTICLE X.
Any man who was either too old
or two yo' ng or ,hysicallv untit to
be enlisted in either of the armies

ARTICLE Xl.

SEC 1-H-onorary members may be
1 toposed and elected and such mem-
bers shall be entitled to all the priv-
iledges and courtesies of a veteran
except that of voting. :
SEC 2 The Bivouac may confer all
the privilcdges at discrcssion.

SEC 1-An Executive Committee
of three shall be appointed by the
Commander, who shall serve during
the year in which they are appointed

SEC 2-The duties of said Com't
shall be that of an advisiscry board
before which the Bivouac, by vote,
may lay any subject not otherwise
disposed of and their report shall be
heard and acted apon at the next
regular assembly.

Absence ofOfticers.
SEC 1 Any officer of this Bivouac
who hall absent himself three con-
secutive regular assemblies shall con-
sider his Office vacant and offer his
resignation or excuse for such ab-
sence in n writing.
SEC 2 The Bivounc shall consider

ARTIICLE III.
Any comrade who shall be guilty
of conduct unbecoming a soldier or
a gentlemen or who shall disobey
the orders of the Commander shall

provided he shall pay all dues which
may have accrued to date of appli-
cation.

This Bivouac shall be governed (
all questions of debate by Cushing's
Manual.
ARTICLE VI.
The foregoing constitution and
laws may be amended by a two thirds
vote of those present at a regular
assembly Provided the proposed
amendment has been submitted in
writing and read at the regular as-
sembly next proceeding.









UNIFORM.

Hat.-Soft, gray |felt, similar in
shape to the "Burnside," with gilt
hat cord, front ornament a wreath en-
circling the letters U. V. B. G. em-
broidered on cloth, the color to denote
former service; viz: For Infantry,
light blue- for Cavalry, yellow, and
for Artilery, scarlet.
Coat.--Dark blue close fitting sack,
standing collar of gray cloth one inch
wide, single breasted with five Flor-
ida State buttons (staff pattern) in
front and two small buttons of same
pattern on each cuff along underseam,
said coat to be lined, at least in front,
and have one inside and one outside
breast pocket and two outside pock-






ets in skirt, the outside pockets to be
cut through (not stitched on) and
faced with gray cloth, one veteran or
