The general public iJ hereby informed that Notice No. 107 Gazetted on
S2 6th Jun.:., 1973, is replaced by the Notice No. 129, which is published with
and fururmspart of this issue of the Gazette.

APPOINTMENT


Arbitration Tribunal appointed pursuant to the provisions of Section 3 (2)
(c) of the Trade Disputes (Arbitration and Inquiry) Ordinance, 1940 (No. 14
of 1940) to inquire into a dispute between the St. Vincent Electricity Services
and the St. Vincent Workers' Union.
WHEREAS a trade dispute exists between the St. Vincent Electricity Ser-
vices (hereinafter called the Employer) and the St. Vincent Workers' Union.
2. AND WHEREAS both parties to the dispute have consented to its reference
to an Arbitration Tribunal constituted of three Arbitrators under the provisions
of the Trade Disputes (Arbitration and Inquiry) Ordinance, (No. 14 of 1940).

3. AND WHEREAS the Governor, acting on the advice of Cabinet, thinks it fit
to refer such dispute to an arbitration tribunal constituted of the undermen-
tionied' persons:-
KENNETH RANDOLPH VINCENT JOHN, Esq., (Chairman)
JOSEPH BURNS BONADIE, Esq.,
DARNLEY LEWIS, Esq.,

4. Now THEREFORE, the Governor, acting on the advice of Cabinet, hereby
refers the said trade dispute to an arbitration tribunal constituted of the per-
sons mentioned in paragraph 3 above with the following terms of reference:-

To determine whether or not the Employer had sufficient cause
to dismiss summarily the undermentioned persons from its employ-
ment on 28th October, 1971 as a result of ,events which are alleged to
have occurred on or around the Employer's premises between 26th
and 28th October, 1971, in which the said employees were allegedly
involved:-
(a) Mr. NATHANIEL ASHTON
(b) Mr. NORMAN LEWIS
(c) Mr. AUCKLAND WALLACE
and to make an award.

Miss VERA-ANNE BRERETON has been appointed Secretary to the Tribunal.
