TREASURY BILLS
ISSUE NO. 3.
No. 101.
Tenders are invited for the issue of St. Vincent Government Treasury
Bills which will be made to the amount of one million, five hundred thousand
dollars ($1,500.000).
These Bills will be in denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000
$50,000, $100,000, and will be payable at par ninety one days after the date of
issue. They will be issued on Tuesday 19th June, and will be payable on
Tuesday 18th September, 1973.
Each tender must be for an amount of not less than $1,000, and must
specify the amount which will be given for every one hundred dollars of the
amount tendered.
Application forms are available at the Treasury and the Commercial
Banks, and when completed should be forwarded to the Financial Secretary,
Ministry of Finance in scaled envelopes addressed:
Treasury Bill Tender.
The Financial Secretary,
Ministry of Finance,
Ministry Buildings.
The applications must reach the Ministry of Finance not later than 3 p.m. on
Friday 15th June, 1973.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
UNDP PHYSICAL PLANNING PROJECT
The United Nations Development Programme Physical Planning Project
is assisting the Governments of nine (9) Commonwealth Eastern Caribbean
Territories in the field of physical planning. Participating territories are:-
Antigua, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Montserrat,
St. Christopher/Nevis/Anguilla, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Turks and Caicos
Islands. The Project is based at the Morne, Castries, St. Lucia.
Applications are invited from nationals of the above Territories and should
be submitted through their respective governments.
The Project provides for a two-year programme for the training of Physical
Planning Assistance, tenable at The Morne, Castries, St. Lucia and scheduled
'to commence on 1st August, 1973. Candidates should possess a G.C.E. Certi-
ficate at Orldiii, r Level. ii Inglish and .Mathematics as a minimum and prefer-
ably some years practical experience in housing, building or physical planning.
The training programme covers full tuition and transportation costs, and a
monthly stipend for living and miscellaneous expenses. Successful trainees
will be expected to return to their home territories for employment in the gov-
ernment service for a minimum period to be determined by their respective
governments.

Applications should be accompanied by details of education, qualifications
and expcriercc. and addressed to:

The applications will be reviewed and decided by the Governments of the
participating-Territories in consultation with the UNDP Project Manager.
