UNDER OCAP 1973/74.
Applications are invited from suit-
Abl. qualified persons for the award
'of scholarships to Canada, subject to
provision: of funds under the Common-
wealth I Caribbivan Assistance Pro-
graimme. Awards will be tenable from
September 1973 or 1974.;
Applicants for the degree
.courses should possess a minimum of
five (5) G.C.E. passes, two of themn.at
'X' Level in the academic .specialization
.sought. No 'A' Level E grades .will.'
be accepted. .
3. Applicants for technical courses
should have a uiiniim um of four (4)
SOG.C.E. '0' Level passes including
English Language, Mathematics and/
or a Science subject. For Account-

anc courses, Commerce will be accept-
ed in place of Mathematics.
4. Successful .c cand id ate s, 'who
should be between the ages of 18 and
40, will be required to sign a Bond with
Sureties.

NOTICES.
VACANT POST OF WARDEN,
KINaSTOWN TOWN BOARD
SApplications are invited for the
vacant post of Warden, Kingstown Town
Board.
Applicants for the post should have
had at least five (5) years experience in
a senior administrative capacity and
should have a sound knowledge of ac-
counting procedures. Experience in
building and road, construction will be
an advantage, but is not necessarily a
condition of appointment.
The Warden shall perform such duties
as are imposed upon him by the Kings-
town Board Act or any other law in force
in St.KVincent. His duties shall include:
(a) -performance of the duties of
senior administrative officer of
the Town Board Office; l
(b) preparation of Revenue and Ex-
penditure Estimates and Final
Accounts ensuring that all pro-
jects are done within the ap-
proved Budget of the Board;
(c) supervision of projects under-
taken by the Board;
(d) attendance of meetings of the
Board and responsibility for the
compilation of Minutes of Meet-
ings;
(e) supervision of all elections to the
Board;
(f) responsibility for the proper oper-
ation of the Kingstown Market;
(.g) any other duties, not inconsistent
with the post, that the Board may
require him to perform.
Salary of the ,post is $9,240 p.a. and
a commuted Travelling Allowance of
$816.00 p.m. is payable, provided a suit-
able means of transport is maintained.
Quarters are not provided.
Applications in the applicant's 'own
handwriting, with two recent testimo-
nials-one from his latest employer,
should be addressed to the Chairman,
Kingstown Town Board to reach him not
later than Friday April 20, 1973.

Offices throughout the State on Thurs-

French Design of "The Last Supper".
Official First Day Covers may be
obtained at the General Post Office,
Kingstown- an. at the District Post
Office, at Port -Elizabeth, Bequia at a,
cost of $2.10 each.
