It is hereby notified for general in-
formation that Mrs. SYLVIA DASILVA
has been appointed 'to serve as Chair-
man of the St. Vincent Tourist Board
vice Mr. H. V. Soso who has tendered
his resignation from the Board. This
appointment will be for the remainder
of the life of the present Board.

qualified persons for appointment to the
post of Assistant Storekeeper, Ministry
for Communications and Works.
T NOTICES
The post is pensionable and in the
salary scale V 38-25 i.e. $1,800 x $120
-$2,520 x $180-$3,600 x $240-$3,840.
The holder of the post will be re-
quired mainly to assist the Storekeeper
in the receipt and. delivery of Stores and
preparation of time and wages lists and
accounting records relating thereto.
Applicants should possess a Primary
School Leaving Certificate. Preference
will however be given to holders of
G.C.E. '0' Level passes.
Previous experience in Commercial
Stores duties will be an advantage.

of Government owned Motor Vehicles
from the 29th May 1972 to 30th May-

This invitation for tenders replaces
the notices on this subject which ap-
peared in the Government Gazette and
in the local press during the months of
March and April, 1972.
The number of vehicles for which in-
surance is required is approximately one
hundred and thirty (130) and tenders
should include quotations for insurance
against-
(a) Third Party Risks only
(b) Third Party Fire and Theft.
The list of vehicles and insurable
value of each may be obtained on re-
quest from the Accountant General.
Sealed tenders addressed to the Chair-
man, Central Supplies Tenders Board,
Ministry of Finance, Kingstown and
distinctly marked on the envelope
"Tenders for the Insurance of Govern-
ment Owned Motor Vehicles" will be
received up to 12 noon on Saturday the
20th May, 1972.
The Government does not bind itself
to accept the lowest or any tender and
reserves the power of accepting any part
of a tender.

of The Gambling, Lotteries- and Bett
ting Ordinance 196& or a Permit to
operate a Pinball Machine under Sec-
tion 15 of the said Ordinance or
Pinball Machine, Licence. will be, con-
sidered on-.22hd June, 1972, at Police-
Headquarters at 4.30 p.m.
Applications addressed to -the COhair-
men must reach the Authority not
later than Saturday 3rd June, 1972.
Any person who desires to object to
the grant by the Authority of any
particular Permit or Licence should
send to the Authority before the 3rd
June, 1972, two copies of a brief state-
ment in writing of the grounds of his
objection.

THE GAMBLING, LOTTERIES AND
BETTING ORDINANCE 1968
Persons desirous of making applica-
tion to carry on the following:-
(a) business of receiving or negoti-
ating bets, or conducting betting
operation, or,
(b) by way of business in any man-
ner to receive or negotiate bets
or conduct such operations, or
(c) to operate a Pin Ball Machine
are requested to note that it is neces-
sary to obtain:
(a) a permit, and
(b) a licence
Application should be made on Form'
1, and it will he necessary for the
applicant to state in. the application
the following information:-
(h) i date of birth;
(b) office and- usual place, of" resi-
dence-
(c) place of residence' during- the
past 5' years-
(d) that during the 12 months pre-
ceding the date- of the-appiica'-
tion, he has not been refused
the grant or renewal of such
a permit, and
(e) two referenecs:.as'to character.
It should further be noted' that in
making an' application for a, licence,
the applicant should state-
(a) that' h is the'holdet'of a pep-
mit, and
(b) submit a plan, suffcient to show
the lay-out and location of the
said premises and the means of
access thereto.
In addition, the applicant should
complywith the following.:-

(b) publish in the newspaper circu-
lating in Saint Vincent, a notice
of the application, not later
than twenty-eight days before
the hearing of any such appli-
cation,
(e) send copy of newspaper con-
taining publication to the Auth-
ority not later than seven days
after advertisement.
Persons wishing to object to the
grant of a permit in respect of any
premises should send to the Authority
two copies of the grounds of objection,
not later than ten days after publica-
tion of advertisement.
Forms of application may be obtain-
at the Inland Revenue Office or Police
Headquarters.
