The Hon. S. E. SLATER, Minister of Home Affairs has been
granted leave from his official duties with effect from today, June
30, 1971.

Consequent on the absence from duty of the Hon. S. E.
SLATER, Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. R. MILTON CATO,
Premier/Minister of Finance has been appointed to act as Minis-
ter of Home Affairs in conjunction with his substantive duties
with effect from June 30, 1971 and until further notice.
