Duties:
Those normally required of a Dep-
uty Registrar and any others. not in-
consistent with these, which the Reg-
istrar may assign from time to time.
Salary:
Salary will be in the scale $6,300 x

,480--$10.200 for a professional ap-
pointee. For a non-professional ap-
pointee the faximum of tihe scale will
l,e $9,240'. The commencing salary

Appointment:
The appointment, which is subject
io medical fitness, may be either oni

a contractual basis. A permanent and
pensionable appointment may be sub-

Free passages to St. Vincent for the

Leave will be earned as follows:-
Salary of $7,320 and over-at the rate
of 30 working days per annum.
S-lary from $5,100 per annum to
$6,9)60 per annum-at the rate of 21
working days per annum.
Travelling and subsistence allow-
.ances will be paid in accordance with
local regulations.
A candidate engaged on a contraet-
ual basis will be entitled, on the satis-
factory completion of his contract, to
a gratuity of 25'/( of salary.
Government Quarters:

A PROCLAMATION

Governor.
WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the House of Assembly (Regis-
tration of Electors) Act, 1969, it is provided that a list of electors shall come
into force on such date as the Governor may by Proclamation appoint and
remain in force until the list of electors next compiled comes into force.
AND WHEREAS lists of electors have been compiled in 1970 in pursuance
of the provisions of the House of Assembly (Registration of Electors) Act,
1969, for each polling division comprised within the thirteen constituencies.
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the list of electors so compiled shall come
into force on the 15th day of December One thousand nine hundred and seventy.
Now THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers conferred upon me as aforesaid,
and acting in accordance with the advice of the Cabinet, I Do HEREBY PROCLAIM
the 15th day of December One thousand nine hundred and seventy as the date
on which the said lists of electors shall come into force.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of Saint Vincent at Government
House in Saint Vincent this 26th day of November in the year of our
Lord One thousand nine hundred and seventy and in the nineteenth
year of the Reign of Her Majesty QUEEN ELIZABETH THE
SECOND.
