ABSENCE OF THE HON. PREMIER/MINISTER OF FINANCE
The Hon. R. MILTON CATO, Premier/Minister of Finance left the State
yesterday for Toronto, Canada to attend Statehood Anniversary Celebrations
at the invitation of the Canada/St. Vincent Association.

APPOINTMENT
Consequent on the absence from the State of the Hon. R. MILTON CATO,
Premier/Minister of Finance, the Hon. S. E. SLATER, Minister of Home Affairs,
has been appointed to act as Premier/Minister of Finance in conjunction with
his substantive duties with effect from 29th October, 1970 and until further
notice.
