pointed as United States Consul and
Vice-Consul respectively for (a) Anti-
gua, Dominica,, Crenada, St. Christo-
pher-Nevis-Anguilla, St. Lucia and St.
Vincent; and (b) Montserratt and the
British Virgin Islands; with residence
at Bridgetown, Barbados. Mr. DANIELS

Salary
This post carries a salary in the

Qualificatioans
Applicants should possess an Ele-
mentary School Leaving Certificate
and will be required to pass a house-
wireman licence within six months of
appointment. They should have
served a period of a apprenticeship with
a recognized electrical contriIctor or
must have had three years experience
in the electrical field.
Dutics
The successful candidate will be re-
quired to assist the Electrical Main-
tenance Officer in the maintenance and
repairs of all installations and equip-
ment under Government control. IHe
might at times be called upon to in-
st]l' electric wiring of new equipment
and to carry out rewiring of existing
installations.
Applications together with two refer-
ences should be sent to the Chief Per-
sonnel Officer, Service Commissions De-
partment, Kingstown, to reach him not
later than 15th August, 1970.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES (ST. VINCENT FLOUR MILL
LIMITED) (PRODUCTION OF WHEATEN FLOUR) ORDER.



(Gazetted 18th August, 1970).


Whereas on the 16th day of September, 1969, by Statutory Rule and Order
No. 40 of 1969, the establishment, maintenance and operation in Saint Vincent
of plant for the manufacturing of wheaten flour was declared to be a pioneer
industry for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952
(No. 5 of 1952) and wheaten flour so manufactured was declared to be a pioneer
product for the said purposes.
Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred upon him by subsection
(1) of Section 4 of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952 the Governor
has made the following Order:-
1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(St. Vincent Flour Mill Limited) (Production of Wheaten Flour) Order, 1970.
2. Declaration. ST. VINCENT FLOUR MILl. LIMITED, i company duly
incorporated under the laws of Saint Vincent is hereby declared to be a pioneer
manufacturer in relation to the production of Wheaten Flour at the pioneer
factory to be established at Campden Park.
3. Construction Day. Construction day shall be the 1st August, 1970.
4. Production Day. Production day shall be the 1st February, 1972.

MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT NO. 2)
REGULATIONS,


(Gazetted 18th August, 1970).



1. Short Title. These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles
and Road Traffic (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 1970, and shall be read
as one with the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulations, 1959 (S.R. & 0.
1959, No. 35) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations) and all
amendments thereto.
2. Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Regulations Amended.
Regulation 1 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Regulations,
1970, (S.R. & 0. 1970, No. 16) is hereby amended by inserting the signs and
word "(Amendment)" between the words "Traffie" and "Regulations" ap-
pearing in the second line thereof.
3. Third Schedule to principal Regulations amended. The Third
Schedule to the principal Regulations is hereby amended by deleting the words,
signs and figures inserted in accordance with regulation 3 of the Motor Vehicles
and Road Traffice (Amendment) Regulations, 1970, and inserting the following:-
