The following direction for declaration of vacancy of Ministerial office,
Ministerial appointment and assignments of portfolios made by His Excellency
the Acting Governor C. ST. C. DACON, Esq., on the advice of the Premier and
taking effect on the 10th July, 1970, are notified for general information.
His Excellency has directed that the office of Minister held by the Hon.
J. L. EUSTACE be declared vacant.

gained admission;
b) be experienced teachers whom the
University might be willing to ac-
cept as mature students;
c) be graduates of a University.
Successful anplieants will be required

to St. Vincent to teach in the Secondary
Grammar or Junior Secondary Schools
or at the Teachers' Training College.

PRACTICAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING, U.K.
Applications are invited from suitably
qualified persons to undergo training in
Britain by practical attachments to in-
dustrial firms. Preference will be given
to applications from Vineentians now
in Britain, provided they are willing to
return to serve in St. Vincent for a spe-
cified period.
2. Training at craft level is not pro-
vided. The following five categories are
acceptable:
a) University graduates who require
practical training + complement
their academic work.

b) "Higher National Diploma students
who require practical training as
part of a "sandwich course."
e) Technologists and technicians re-
quiring special training-three years'
experience necessary.

Qualifications for Higher National
Diploma Course are:
G.C.E. in five appropriate sub-
jects including one at Ad-
vanced Level.
'Qualifications for Council for Na-
tional Academic Award:
G.C.E. in five subjects, including
two appropriate subjects at
Advanced Level.

It is hereby notified for the attention
of the electors of Kingstown that copies
of the lists of elector-;' roll for the Town
of King.stown are exhibited on or near
the door of each of the following build-
ings in Kingstown:-

(b) The Court House
(c) The Post Office
(d) The Market
Every person whose name is not on
the elector's roll, and who claims to be
entitled to have his name entered in the
electors' roll shall not later than the
thirty-first day of July 1970, give notice
in writing to the Warden of his claim,
stating therein his qualifications to be so
enrolled.
Every person whose name is on the
electors' roll may object to any other
person as not being entitled to have his
name retained thereon.

TREASURY NOTICE
It is hereby notified for the informa-
tion of all Government pensioners that
there is a change in the method of pay-
ing pension as from June 1970, as a re-
suit of which there will be no need any
longer for pensioners to complete the
usual monthly pension form.
Instead, pensioners will be required
to submit at six-monthly intervals, that
is, in the month of June and December
each year, a life certificate in the ap-
proved form, copies of which may be ob-
tained- from the Treasury on request.
