CONSTITUENCY BOUNDARY COMMISSION ORDER.
(Gazetted 19th May, 1967).
WHEREAS by regulation 3 of the Electoral Provisions (Redistribution
of Constituencies) Regulations, 1967. S.R. & 0. No. 8 of 1967) there \ as
established a Constituency Boundary Commission for St. Vincent consisting
of a Chairman and one other member:
AND WHEREAS by regulation 2 of the said Regulations it is provided
that for the purpose of the election of elected members of the House of Repre-
sentatives that it is proposed to establish for St. Vincent, St. Vincent shall,
in accordance with the provisions of the said regulation, be divided into
thirteen constituencies with such boundaries as may be prescribed by Order
made by the Constituel Boundary Commission:

3. Commencement. This Order shall come into force on the day on
which the Legislative Council, established by the Saint Vincent Constitutiofi
Orders 1959 to 1967 is next dissolved.

SCHEDULE TO THE CONSTITUENCY BOUNDARY COMMISSION
ORDER, 1967
1. North Windward
From West Point eastward and southward along the coast to an iron
B1421 as shown on plan C177 prepared by G. Barker and deposited in the
Lands and Surveys Department. Thence westward to an iron B1420 and to
the centre of the Windward Highway and the Mount Bentick Road. Thence
westward along the centre of the Mount Bentick/O'Briens Road to the bridge
over the Caratal river at the entrance of O'Briens village thelice to trigono-
metrical point 478R. Thence in a south-easterly direction along the cliff
face to a point on the cliff face above the junction where the road to Montague
House joins the estate road to Chili and in line with the road to Montague
House. Thence westward along the ridge through trigonometrical point 16VS
(height 2965) and westward to the Charlotte/St. David parish boundary and
northwards along the central ridge to West Point.
2. North Central Windward
From an iron B1421 as shown on plan C177 prepared by G. Barker and
deposited in the Lands and Sruveys Department, southward along the coast
to the mouth of the Camacribou river just south of the. Sans Souci headland.
Thence upstream along the Camacribou river,-and .its northern tributary (i.e.
passing north of Lively), and thence noi i wisterly to the Colonarie river
where the C.D.C. catchment begins, and il a' south westerly direction up the
Colonarie river to its source at Grand -thhomme and northward along the
central ridge to the boundary with Ndith Windward. Thence eastward to
the ridge through trigonometrical point 16VS (height:,29'65) and further
eastwards along this ridge to a point ontthe' cliff above the junction where the
road to Montague House joins the estate riad to Chili and in line with the
road to Montague House. Thence nortb, westerly alon',githe cliff face to
trigonometrical point 478R and to the bri ge over the Carital river at the
entrance of O'Briens village. Thence east ards "along the centre of the
Mount Bentick/O'Briens road to the Windward tHighlway and to iron B1420
thence eastwards to an iron B1421 as shown on the aforementioned plan C177.
3. South Central Windward
From the mouth of the CamacriboL river southward along the coast to
the mouth of the South Union River just south of Irwin's Cliff, thence up the
bed of this river to the Windward Highway. Thence up the southern tributary
near Cedars to its source and westerly in a straight line to trigonometrical
point 5VS (height 1235). Thence westerly and north westerly along the
ridge to Petit Bonhomme and Grand Bonhomme, and to the source of the
Colonarie; river-. Thence in a north easterly direction down the Colonarie river
to a point where the C.D.C. catchment begins, and thence in a line (passing
north of Lively) to the source of the northern tributary of the Camacribou
river and downstream along the said Camacribou river to its mouth.

4. South Windward
From the mouth of the South Union river immediately south of Irwin's
.Cliff southward along the coast to the mouth of the Ribishi river. Thence up
the Ribishi river to its junction with the Deningo Gutter. Thence up this
gutter to the point where it crosses the Windward Highway. Thence north-
ward along the centre of the Windward Highway to the bridge over the
Ribishi river and eastward along the centre of the Windward Highway to the
junction with Carapan bye-way. Thence northward along the centre of the
said road to its junction with the road to Enhams and thence in an easterly
direction following the centre of the road to the junction of the roads to
"Victoria Village and Calder (near the Wyso stand pipe). From this junction
northward along the-centre of the road to the junction of the roads leading to
Belmont and Calder and thence in a north westerly direction up the centre of
the ridge road to the junction with the Belmont road, thence northwards
along its centre to the junction with the Vigie Highway approximately half
a mile to the east of Eyry Iill. Thence eastward along the centre of the
Highway to Cricks corner and north-easterly along the centre of the Akers
road to a spur immediately north of Eardley Brown's Estate House and the
C.D.C. main power line. Thence north easterly along this power line to the
junction with the Yambou Byepass and tile road to Pasture, thence north
westerly along the spur to the north of the Yambou river to trigonometrical
point 350VS and northerly along the Aayers Hill ridge overlooking the Zenga
river to the sharp corner on the Simon or New Prospect road thence north
along the centre of the said road for approximately 500 yards to a footpath
and north westward along this footpath to the junction with the Maroon
Hill road. Thence northward along the centre of the said road to a point on
the road due south of trigonometrical point 5VS (height 1235) and thence to
trigonometrical point 5VS. Thence easterly in a straight line to the source
of the southern tributary of the South Union River and along this river to
the starting point.
5. Marriaqua
From trigonometrical point 5VS (height 1235) to a point due south on the
Maroon Hill road and southward along the centre of this road to a footpath
and south eastward along this footpath to the Simon road and southward for
500 yards to the sharp corner and southerly along the Sayers Hill ridge to
350VS thence south easterly along the ridge north of the Yambou river to the
junction with the Yambou Byepass and the road to Pasture and to the power
line. Thence south westerly and along the power line to the spur immediately
north of Eardley Browne's Estate House. Thence along the centre of the
Akers road to Cricks Corner and south westerly along the centre of the road
to Eyry Hill and Pilgrim Hill, and from Pilgrim Hill along the centre
of a road northward to trigonometrical. point 211VS (height 1180) (near
Finlay) and thence up the ridge in a north north-westerly direction to trigo-
nometrical point 210VS (height 2364) and thence north west to the nearest
point on the central ridge and northward along the central ridge to Grand
Bonhomme. Thence easterly to Petit Bonhomme and thence in a south
easterly direction along the ridge to the starting point trigonometrical point
5VS.
6. East St. George
From the mouth of the Ribishi river southward and westward along the
coast to the Greathead river thence up the Greathead river to the junction
with a tributary approximately 200 yards upstream from and east of Belair
Church. Thence eastward up this tributary to its source and thence due east
tp the Vigie Highway/Eyry Hill road, and north along the centre of the
Highway to Eyry Hill thence eastward along the centre of the said road to
the junction with the Belmont road. Thence southward along the centre of
the Belmont road to its junction with the ridge road and south easterly along
the centre of this ridge road to its junction with the road to Calder and
Victoria Village, thence south eastward along the centre of this road to its
junction with ,he Carapan byeway near the Wyio stand pipe and westerly
along the centre of the byeway to its junction with the road to Enhams and
southward along the centre of the byeway to thlie Windward Highway. Thence
westward and southward along the centre oif the highway to its junction with
the Deningo gutter and easterly along this gutter to its junction with the
Ribishi river, southerly and ea 4terly along the said river to its mouth.
7. West St. George
From the mouth of the Greathead river westward along the coast round
Cane Garden point and in a north easterly direction to the mouth of the gntter
approximately 200 feet east of the Cusloms Warehouse (Rum Bond). Thence
up this gutter to the junction of Long lane Upper and the road to Sion Hill
market and London road. Thence northward along the ,centre of the road
to Sion Hill market for approximately 200 yards to the road junction. Thence
along the centre of the right hand fork to the junction with Murrays road
(approximately 50 yards westward of Sion Hill market crossroads). Thence
north along the centre of the Murrays road to the crossing of the westerly
branch of the Kingstown South river (Sally Spring). Thence north along
the bed of this river for approximately 350 yards to the road junction near
trigonometrical point 399R marked on Kingstown 1:2500 map. Thence north
easterly along the road to Samuel Gill boundary thence easterly along this
boundary to the junction with the Richmond Hill/Dorsetshire Hill boundary.
Thence southerly to trigonometrical point 40VS and easterly along the
northern boundary of Crown Land as shown on plan G424 lot 21 deposited in
the Lands and Surveys Department, to the Dorsetshire Hill road. Thence
northward along the centre of the Dorsetshire Hill road to Millers Gate thence
south easterly along the centre of the road to Millers ridge and northward
along the ridge to trigonometrical point 162VS (height 1576). Thence
northerly up the ridge to Mount St. Andrew. Thence up the central ridge to
nearest point to trigonometrical point 210VS (height 2364), thence to trigo-
nometrical point 210VS. Thence in a straight line approximately south east
to trigonometrical point 211VS (height 1180) (near Finlay). Thence approxi-
mately due south along the centre of the road to Pilgrim Hill and south
easterly along the Eyry Hill ridge road to its junction with the Vigie Highway.
Thence westerly and southerly along the centre of the highway to a point due
east of the source of the tributary of the Greathead river approximately 200
yards upstream and east of Belair Church and to its source. Thence down-
stream to the Greathead river and along this said river to its mouth.
8. East Kirgstown
From th? mouth of the gutter which forms the western boundary of West
St. George a'ong the sea front to the mouth of the Kingstown North river and
up the river to the bridge at Tyrrell St. then north west along the centre of
Tyrrell St. 10 the main road through the cemetery. Thence approximately
north along the centre of the said main road through the cemetery to the
junction witit the street shown on the map as Chapman St. Thence eastwards
along the centre of Chapman St. and across the Leeward Highway to the
northern bo ndary of the rectory and along this boundary to the road bounding
Victoria Pai k on the north side and along the centre of that road to the
bridge over the Kingstown North river. Thence upstream along the Kings-
town North river to the junction with its eastern tributary, and up the
eastern triln:tary in a north easterly direction up to its juctiion with a dry
gutter whiec, begins at the junction of the Kennedy Trace and the road to
Bow Wood, and along this gutter to the Kennedy Tlace. Thence north
easterly up lhis trace to its junction with the ridge which runs from trigono-
metrical point 162VS to Mounit St. Andrew and along this ridge to trigono-
metrical point 162VS (height 1576i), thence southerly along this ridge to the
road and north westerly along the centre of this road to Millers Gate
thence southerly along the centre of the Dorsetshire Hill road to the northern
boundary of Crown Land i.e. Lot 21, on plan C424 and westerly along this
boundary to 40VS, then northerly along the Richmond Hill/D)orsetshire Hill
boundary to the top of Samuel Gill boundary and westerly along this boundary
to a bye-road. Thence south easterly along the centre of this road to the
junction (near trigonometrical point 3')R marked on Kingstown map 1:2500)
and to the westerly branch of the Kingstown river and south along its bed to
the junction with the Murrays road (Sally Spring). Thence south easterly
along the centre of Murrays Road to the junction with Sion Hill Road (ap-
proximately 50 yards westward of Sion Hill market crossroads) thence along
the centre of the Sion Hill Road and London Road to the junction with Long
Lane Upper. Thence southward down the gutter which meets the sea at a
point approximately 200 feet east of the Customs Warehouse (Rum Bond).
9. West Kingstown
From the mouth of the Kingstown North river westward along the coast
around Johnson Point to the Ottley Hall headland south of Lowmans Bay.
Thence eastward along the Ottley Hall ridge following the ridge to the junction
with a road and along the centre of this road to the St. Andrew/St. George
parish boundary. Thence in a north easterly direction along the said parish
boundary to the junction with the Leeward Highway, and thence in a north
westerly direction along the centre of the Leeward Highway to the bridge
over the York river. Thence north east up the York river te, its sourcelearest
to Mount St. Andrew and easterly to Mount St. Andrew and southerly along
the ridge which runs from Mount St. Andrew towards trigonometrical point
162VS as far as the Kennedy Trace, thence along the said trace to its junction
with the road to Bow Wood and a large dry gutter and eastwards down this
gutter to the eastern tributary of the Kingstown North River down this river
to the bridge under the road which forms the Northern boundary of Victoria
Park and westward along this road to the northern boundary of the rectory
and along this boundary to the Leeward Highway across this Highway to
Chapman St. and along Chapman St. to its junction with the main road through
the cemetery; thence approximately southward down the said cemetery road
to its junction with Tyrrell St., then south eastwards down the centre of this
street to its junction with the Kingstown West river thence along the river
to the sea.
10. South Leeward
From the Ottley Hall headland south of Lowmans Bay northward along
the coast to the parish boundary of St. Andrew and St. Patrick. Thence in
an easterly and north easterly direction along the said parish boundary to the
central ridge. Thence southward along the central ridge to Mount St. Andrew
and westerly to the source of the York river nearest to Mount St. Andrew.
Thence south west along the York river to the bridge under the Leeward
highway and south easterly along the ce,,nre of the Leeward Highway to its
junction with the St. Andrew/SI. George parish boundary. Thence south
westerly along the said parish boundary to its junction with a road and south
westward along this road to its end and westerly along the Ottley Hall ridge
to the Ottley Hall headland.
11. Central Leeward
The whole of the parish of St. Patrick the same as shown on the first
edition of the 1/25,000 map of St. Vincent published in 1959 by the Directorate
of Overseas Surveys, which may be more particularly described a'i follows:-
commencing at a point on the coast at the parish boundary of St. Andrew and
St. Patrick northward along the coast to the parish boundary of St. Patrick
and St. David, thence westwards along the said parish boundary to the central
ridge. Thence southward along the central ridge to the St. Patrick and St.
Andrew parish boundary and westward along the St. Patrick and St. Andrew
parish boundary to the starting point.
12. North Leeward
The whole of the parish of St. David the same as shown on the first
edition of the 1/25,000 map of St. Vincent published in 1959 by the Directorate
of Overseas Surveys, which may be more particularly described as follows:-
commencing at a point on the coast at the parish boundary of St. Patrick and
St. David north east along the coast to West Point thence southward along the
Central ridge to the boundary of the parishes of St. David and St. Patrick,
thence westward along this parish boundary to the starting point.
13. The Grenadines
All the Grenadine Islands which form part of the colony of St. Vincent.

in 1959 by the Directorate of Overseas Surveys and a 1/2,500 map of Kings-
