TENDERS FOR SUPPLY OF FOOD YEAST
BISCUITS
Tenders are hereby invited and will
be received until 3.00 p.m. on Satur'day,
7th January, 1967, for the supply of
Food Yeast Biscuits to the Education
Department during the year 1967.
The estimated requirements have been
placed at 1,350 tins per annum and the
supplier must guarantee to supply 450
tiis at tihe begii',ing. of each term and
to deliver same in good condition at
Primary Schools on the mainland and
Grenadines as directed by the Education
Officer.
Any delivery charge should be stated
in the Tender separate from the actual
price of the commodity.
Tenders are to be addressed to the
Chairman, Tenders Board, Ministry of
Finance and the envelope sealed and
marked "Tenders for the supply of
Food Yeast Biscuits".
Government does not bind itself to
accept the lowest or any tender.

VACANCY FOR POST OF COMMISSIONER,
EASTERN CARIBBEAN COMMISSION,
LONDON.
Applications are invited for the post of
Commissioner, Eastern Caribbean Com-
mission, London.
2. The basic salary of the post is
$12,000 per annum. The appointment
will be on contract for a period of three
years in the first instance, and will be
subject to termination on six months'
notice on either side.
3. A gratuity at the rate of 121/2%
of basic salary will' be payable on the
satisfactory completion of the contract.
4. The officer will be required to
administer Consular services in respect
of the territories forming the West
Indies (Associated States), to promote
the interests of the territories in the
United Kingdom in the fields of trade,
tourism and investment, to attend to the
welfare of migrants and students, and
generally, to project an appropriate
image of the islands served.
5. Living quarters are not provided
but the officer will be paid a House
Allowance at the rate of $2,640 per
annum.
6. Applications on the prescribed
forms, accompanied by two (2) recent

Applications are invited for the post
of Commissioner, Eastern Caribbean
Commission, Montreal, Canada.
2. The basic salary of the post is
$7,920 (Canadian) per annum. The
appointment will be on contract for a
period of three years in the first in-
stance, and will be subject to termina-
tion on six months' notice on either side.
3. A gratuity at the rate of 121/2%

VACANCY FOR POST OF EXECUTIVE
SECRETARY.
Applications are invited for the post
of Executive Secretary to the West In-
dies (Associated States) Council of
Ministers.
2. The salary of the post will be in
the scale $8,400 x 240-$9,600. The
point of entry in this scale will depend
upon the officer's qualifications and ex-
perience.
3. The general conditions of service
of the Officer would be in accordance
with the Civil Service conditions ob-
taining in St. Lucia at present.
4. A House Allowance at the rate of
$600 per annum will be payable to the
officer, "provided he is recruited from
outside St. Lucia.
5. The officer will be responsible for
the administration of the Secretariat in
St. Lucia, the administration of services
jointly sponsored by the West Indies
(Associated States), and the perform-
ance of such other duties that may be
assigned to him from time to time by the
West Indies (Associated States) Coun-
cil of Ministers.
6. Applications on the prescribed
forms, accompanied by two (2) recent
testimonials, should be addressed to the

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE, 1952.
In pursuance of the requirements of section 3 (2) (a) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952, it is hereby notified for general information
that the Admini trator-in-Council proposes to make the undermentioned
Order under section 3 (1) of the said Ordinance.
Any person who objects to the making of such Order shall give notice in
writing of his objection, and of the grounds on which he relies in support
thereof, to the Clerk of the Executive Council on or before the 23rd day of
January, 1967.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES (MANUFACTURE OF WIGS AND
OTHER HAIR PRODUCTS) ORDER.
(Gazetted 1967).
1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(Manufacture of Wigs and other Hair Products) Order, 1967.
2. Declaration. The establishment, maintenance and operation in the
Colony of plant for the manufacture of wigs and other hair products is hereby
declared to be a pioneer industry for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer
Industries Ordinance, 1952, and manufactured wigs and other hair products
are hereby declared to be pioneer products for the said purposes.
Made by the Administrator in Council under section 3 (1) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952, (No. 5 of 1952) this
day of 1967.
