HENNESSY CONRAD ALLEYNE, to be one of Her Majesty's Counsel for the
Windward Islands comprising the Colonies of Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and
Dominica and their dependencies.

KNOW YE that WE reposing especial trust and confidence in the loyalty,
integrity and ability of Our Trusty and Well-Beloved KEITH HENNESSEY CONRAD
ALLEYNE, Barrister-at-Law, Attorney-General of the Windward Islands, and
Member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, resident of Saint Paul's in
the Colony of Grenada in the Windward Islands, of Our especial grace, certain
knowledge and mere motion have thought fit to constitute and appoint and by
these Presents do constitute and appoint the said KEITH HENNESSEY CONRAD
ALLEYNE to be One of Our Counsel for Our Windward Islands comprising the
Colonies of Grenada, Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia and Dominica and the Depen-
dencies thereof to hold and enjoy within Our said Colonies all and singular the
RIGHTS, ALLOWANCES, PRIVILEGES and PRE-EMINENCES to the said ap-
pointment belonging or appertaining in as full and ample a manner as any other
Our Counsel learned in the Law in any of Our Colonies doth hold or enjoy or
of right ought to have held or enjoyed the same, and also the liberty of sitting
and practising within the Bars of Our said Colonies as any of Our Counsel learned
in the Law do ought or may.

chase of one (1) Miller and Richard
Double Crown Cylinder Press, and one
(1) Bremner Platen Press at the Gov-
ernment Printing Office.

VACANT POST.
SENIOR DRAUGHTSMAN, WINDWARD
ISLANDS.
Applications are invited from suitably
qualified candidates for appointment to
the post of Senior Draughtsman, Wind-
ward Islands, particulars of which are
as follows:-
Appointment:
The post is non-pensionable, and
appointment will be on a temporary
contractual basis for a period of 18
months in the first instance. The officer
will be subject to the Colonial Regula-
tions and the local General Orders for
the time being in force, so far as they
are applicable. The officer will be a
member of the staff of the Executive
Architect, Windward Islands, and will
be stationed in St. Lucia.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have had at least
5 years experience of work usually un-
dertaken by an Architect's Office and
be thoroughly conversant with the
preparation of working drawings and
specifications.
Salary:
The salary will be at the rate of $3,360
(700) per annum in the scale $3,360 x
$120-$3,600 (700 x 25--750) per
annum, plus a pay addition of 20%
of salary.

Quarters:
Quarters are not provided.
Passages:
Free passages to St. Lucia will be
provided for the officer, his wife and
children, not exceeding 5 persons in
all; children to be under 18 years of
age, unmarried, and dependent on the
officer. Free return passages will also
be provided on the satisfactory ter-
mination of the period of engagement.
Leave:
Vacation leave on full salary will be
granted at the rate of one week for
each completed period of 3 months
resident service. Such leave to be
taken on the satisfactory termination
of the officer's contract.
Medical Attention:
should be submitted to the Registrar of
University College of the West Indies,
Mona, Jamaica, by June 30th, 1957. Ap-
plication forms may be obtained from
the Department of Education.
