ARRIVAL OF GOVERNOR.
His Excellency Mr. Colville Montgomery Deverell, C.M.G.,
C.V.O., O.B.E., Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Wind-
ward Islands, accompanied by Mrs. Deverell, arrived in the
Colony by the S.S. "Trajanus" at 11.30 a.m. on the 15th January,
1956.
His Excellency is expected to remain in the Colony until the
24th January, when he will proceed to St. Lucia.
During His Excellency's absence from Grenada Mr. Louis
Cools-Lartigue, O.B.E., Chief Secretary, Windward Islands, will
be Governor's Deputy.
