ARRIVAL OF GOVERNOR.
With reference to Government Notice No. 291 of 5th July, 1955, His Excellency
Mr. COLVILLE MONTGOMERY DEVERELL, C.M.G., C.V.O., O.B.E., Governor
and Commander-in-Chief of the Windward Islands arrived in the Colony by the
"Grumman" at 5.05 p.m. on the 13th July, 1955, accompanied by Mrs. Deverell.
14th July, 1955.

TAKING OF OATHS OF OFFICE BY GOVERNOR.
His Excellency the Governor, Mr. COLVILLE MONTGOMERY DEVERELL,
C.M.G., C.V.O., O.B.E., at 10 a.m. on the 14th July, 19565 took the prescribed Oaths
of Office which were administered by the Honourable B. F. Dias, Acting Crown
Attorney, at the Council Chamber, Kingstown, in the presence of His Honour
the Acting Administrator and Members of the Executive and Legislative Councils.
