ELECTORAL LISTS.
It is notified for general information
that the lists of electors for the several
electoral districts of the Colony will
come into force on the 15th day of
September, 1951.
A copy of these lists may be seen at
the Government Office. Kingstown Li-
brary. and at all Revenue Offices, District
Post Offices and Police Stations.
Copies are also available for sale.
Candidates for election may obtain
one copy of these lists free of charge on
application to the Government Printer
or the Supervisor of Elections.

amn a pairty to a contract with the Gov-
ernment of Saint Vincent relative to
the Dental Clinic at the Colonial Hos-
pital, in respect of which I receive
pecuniary consideration.

THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (ELECTIONS) ORDINANCE, 1951.
SECTION 21.
NOTICE OF NOMINATION.

His Honour the Administrator having issued his writs for the Election of
me:nbers of the Legislative Council for the Electoral Districts of the Colony the
Returning Officers of the said Districts will on the 26th day of September, 1951
now next ensuing between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon at the places herein-
after mentioned proceed to the nomination, and if there is no opposition, to the
election of members for the said Elect oral Districts.
Forms of Nomination Papers may be obtained at the Offices of the Return-
ing Officers between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily except on Wednesdays
when the Offices will be closed at 12 noon. (Sunday also excepted).
Every Nomination Paper must be signed by any six or more electors
qualified to vote in the Electoral District for which a candidate is seeking
election, and be handed to the Returning Officer between the said hours of
9 a.m. and noon.
No Nomination Paper shall be valid or acted upon by the Returning Officer
unless it is accompanied by-
(a) th. consent in writing of the person therein nominated,
(I,) a I posit of one hundirel and twenty dollars in cash, and
(c) the required statutory declaration, Form 26 or 26 A.
In the event of the election being contested the Poll will take place between
the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday the 15th day of October, 1951.
The names of the Returning Officers and the places where they will receive

WHEREAS it is provided by subsection (2) of section 6 o-i legislative
Council (Elections) Ordinance No. 13 of 1951 that "a list of electors shall be
compiled for each polling division comprised within an electoral district and
shall come into force on such date as the Governor may by Proclamation
appoint, and shall remain in force until the list of electors next compiled
comes into force."
AND WHEREAS lists of electors for each polling division within the electo-
ral districts of the colony have been compiled in pursuance of the provisions
of the aforesaid subsection.
Now THEREFORE I, WALTER FLEMING CoUTTS officer Administering the
Government of the Colony of Saint Vincent in exercise of the powers vested in
me by the said subsection do hereby proclaim that the said lists shall come into
force on the fifteenth day of September 1951.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Saint Vincent
at Government House in the said Colony this Twelfth day of September
in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty one and
in the fifteenth year of His Majesty's Reign.
