CITY RATE FOR 1955.

Notice is hereby given that the
City Rate Assessment List for 1955
has been posted on the outer door of
the Treasury and at the Central
Board of Health Office.

The. rate fixed on properties north
of the houses bordering on Alfred
Peters Street under an assessed
annual rental value of $48.00 is 5%
and of $48.00 and over 74%. The
rate on all other property under an
assessed annual rental value of $48.00
is 10% aud of $48.00 and over 15%.

Any person who objects to any
assessment in the said list must lodge
his objection in writing with the
Secretary, Central Board of Hedlth
within fourteen days after the date
of this notice.

5. There was one complaint from the Returning Officer of the Windward Electoral District about the Poll
Clerk Mr. E. Williams who was stationed at Long Ground. After investigations it was found that there was some
misunderstanding in the whole matter which might have arisen from me.

TO EXIST.

1. Suorr Tirte. This Order may be cited as the Antigua
Hxecutive Council (Cessation) Order, 1955.

2. Date or CrssaTion oF EXISTENCE oF ExeEcuTIve CoUNCIL.
From the 23rd day of April, 1955 the Executive Council in the Presi-
dency of Antigua established under the Existing Letters Patent, that
is to say:—

Letters Patent. passed under the Great Seal of the Realm
constituting the Office of Governor and Commander in Chief of the
Leeward Islands and dated the seventeenth day of November, 1936.

Letters Patent passed under the Great Seal of the Realm dated
the twenty-eight day of December, 1939, amending the aforesaid
Letters Patent of the seventeenth day of November, 1936.

Letters Patent passed under the Great Seal of the Realm dated
the twelfth day of July, 1943, amending the aforesaid Letters
Patent of the seventeenth day of November, 1936.

Letters Patent passed under the Great Seal of the Realm dated
the fifteenth day of January, 1951, amending the aforesaid Letters
Patent of the seventeenth day of November, 1936,

shall cease to be the Executive Council of the said Presidency.
