the Court in its Criminal Jurisdiction at

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the Prices
Control (Amendment) Order, 1950, and shall be read as one with
the Prices Control Order, 1947 (S.R. & O. 1947, No. 6) as amend-

THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY (TRANSFER OF NEGOTIABLE IN-
STRUMENTS, ETC.) JAPANN) ORDER, 1950, MADE BY THE GOV-
ERNOR UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY
ORDINANCE, 1940 (ORD. NO. 16 OF 1940) AS AMENDED.

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the Trading
with the Enemy (Transfer of Negotiable Instruments, etc.) (Japan)
Order, 1950.
The Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1940 (Ord. No.
16 of 1940) as amended, is hereinafter referred to as "the Ordin-
ance."
2. (1) Interpretation, The Interpretation Ordinance,
1940 (Ord. No. 15 of 1940) shall apply to the interpretation of this
Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Ordinance.
(2) For the purposes of this Order "Japan" means all
territory which was under Japanese sovereignty on 7th December,
1941.
3. Sanction of Governor. The Governor doth hereby
sanction-
(a) any assignment of a chose in action which, on or after
the 6th day of January, 1950, comes into the owner-
ship of an authority or a person to whom this Order
applies,
(b) any transfer of a negotiable instrument issued on or
after that date, and
(c) any transfer of any security transferable by delivery,
not being abond, a coupon or a negotiable instru-
ment, which on or after that date comes into the
ownership of an authority or person to whom this
Order applies,
being an assignment or transfer made on or after the 6th day of
January, 1950, within the authority given by the Trading with
the Enemy (Authorisation) (Japan) Order, 1950, by or on behalf
of an authority or a person to whom this Order applies.
4. Application. This Order shall apply,
(a) to any Government, public or other authority in
Japan,
(b) to any individual resident in Japan,
(c) as respects any business carried on in Japan to any
individual or body of persons (whether corporate or
unincorporated) carrying on that business.
5. Revocation. The Trading with the Enemy (Transfer
of Negotiable Instruments, etc.) (Japan) Order, 1949 (S. R. & O.
1949, No. 15) is hereby revoked.

AND ALL OTHER POWERS HIM THEREUNTO ENABLING.

1. Short Title. These Regulations may be cited as the
Public Officers' (Amendment) Regulations, 1950, and shall be read
as one with the Public Officers' Leave Regulations, 1950 (S. R. &
0. 1950, No. 5) as amended (hereinafter referred to as the princi-
pal Regulations.)
2. Amendment of Regulation 31. Regulation 31 of the
principal Regulations shall have effect as if for the words "one
month" occurring in the thirteenth and fourteenth lines thereof
respectively, there were substituted the words "three months".
Commencement. These Regulatiois shall be deemed to
have come into effect on the 1st day of January, 1950.
