ars for the purpose of making ad-
vances to Cultivators in the Colony.

Draughtsman in the Public Works Depart-
ment, Dominica The duties of the post
will be the preparation of plans and work-
ng drawings for simple building projects,
from rough sketches. An elementary
knowledge of measurements for quantities
would be an added qualification.
The salary of the post is $ 1248x $ 96
-$ 1738, commencing salary according to
qualifications, The post is pensionable.
Leave 'will 'be in accordance with local
regulations. Quarters are not provided.

to the provisions of Section' 26 of Ordin-
ance No. 5 of 1949 which reads as
follows: -
Before any goods are shipped for
exportation the exporter shall lodge
"with ihe Treasurer a specification.
thereof in such form and containing
"such particulars as the Treasurer
directs, and shall make and .subscribe
"a declaration that the particulars
therein are correct, and shall, if re-
quired by the Treasurer, produce the
"invoice, bill of lading and other docu.
ments relating to the goods. If the
exporter fails to comply with any of
the requirements of this section, or if
"any f the .particulars in any such

"specification are incorrect, the export-
or shall be liable to a penalty not ex-
ceeding twenty shillings. "
In order to ensure that cwrr-ct F.0 B..

export warrant) exporters are iejuested
to furnish the Tariff Clerk with a certifie I
copy of the invoice covering each shipment
within twenty-four hours after the goods
have been exported.
Such copies of invoices will be treated as
confidential and returned to the exporter
by registered post as soon as possible after
the required information has been noted.
Copies of invoices will not be required in
respect of shipments within ihe Carribbean
Area by bo6na fide hucksters.

No. 2 of 1950.
AN ORDINANCE to make provision for rais-
ing a Loan to produce an amount not
exceeding One hundred and forty-four
thousand dollars for the purpose of
making advances to Cultivators in the
Colony.

WHEREAS it is expedient to raise a loan of One
hundred and forty-four thousand dollars for the purpose
specified in the schedule hereto:
BE IT ENACTED by the Governor with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council of Dominica as
follows :--
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the AgriculturalShort title.
Credit (Loan) Ordinance, 1950.
2. The Governor is hereby authorised to issue de- Authority to

the purpose specified in the schedule to this Ordinance:
Provided that the Governor may, with the prior
sanction of the Secretary of State for the Colonies,

dule to cover any excess of expenditure in respect of any
other development scheme in the Colony.
