EVELYN MADE HOBSON
Deceased
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat allper-
sons having any debt or claim upon or affect-
ing the Estate of Evelyn Maude Hobson late of
Balmoral Gap in the district called Hastings
in the parish of Christ Church in this Island
who died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital,
Martindales Road, Saint Michael, and Island
of Barbados on the 13th day of August, 1968,
are hereby requested to send particulars of
their claims duly attested to the undersigned
at Roebuck Street, Bridgetown, Barbados, on
or before the 2nd April 1969, after which
date we shall proceed to distribute the assets
of the estate among the parties entitled there-
to having regard to the debts and claims only
of which we shall then have had notice; and
that we shall not be liable for assets so dis-
tributed to any person of whose debt or claim
we shall not have had notice at the time of
such distribution.
And all persons indebted to the said Es-
tate are requested to settle their accounts
without delay.

GOVERNMENT NOTICES
Training In Cartography
Applicants male and female are invited for training in the field of
Cartography. Training is expected to cover a period of six months and on the
completion of such training, successful trainees may be considered for appoint-
ment to posts of Draughtsman and Field Technician in the Civil Service.
Qua lfications:
Applicants should possess the General Certificate of Education at
Ordinary Level or its equivalent in any two subjects, but training in Mathematics
will be an advantage.
C conditions:
Successful applicants will be paid a non-taxable training allowance of
$100 per month whereas persons already holding permanent appointments in the
Civil Service will continue to receive the salaries of their substantive posts
during training.
Closing Date:
Applications should be submitted on S.C. 21 forms which are obtainable
from the Service Commissions Department, "Flodden", Culloden Road,
St. Michael, and should be completed and submitted to reach the Chief Personnel

ministration and Audit (Amendment) Act, 1969.
2. Section 22 of the Financial Administration
and Audit Act, 1964 is hereby amended by deleting
subsection (2) thereof and substituting the following -

one hundred acres or thereabouts abutting and bound-
ing on Pilgrim Place, Balls, Gibbons and Wilcox Plan-
tations or however else the same may abut and abound
and the said land was valued at twenty thousand
pounds:
And Whereas it was agreed between the Governing

hundred pounds for enabling scholarships:

erning Body purported to give and grant to the Crown

Be It Therefore Enacted by the Queen's Most Ex-
cellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent
of the Senate and House of Assembly of Barbados and
by the authority of the same as follows -

Act, 1969.
2. For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby de-
clared that the parcel of land containing by estima-
tion one hundred acres or thereabouts abutting and
bounding on Pilgrim Place, Balls, Gibbons andWilcox
Plantations or however else the same may abut and
abound which the Governing Body of the ChristChurch
Foundation Schools pursuant to an indenture made on
the 29th day of November, 1965 purported to give and
grant to the Crown in right of its Government of Bar-
bados is vested in the Crown and shall be deemedto
have been vested in the Crown from the 29thdayof
November, 1965 and the said indenture shall for all
