AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES.

In persuance of the requirements of section
3 (2) (a) of the Aid to Pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1950 (No. 9 of 1950) It is hereby
notified for general information that the Admin-
istrator in council proposes to make the undermen-
tioned Order under section 3(1) of the said Ordi-
nance. Any person who objects to the making of
such Order shall give notice in writing of his
objection and of the grounds on which he relies in
support thereof to the Clerk to the Executive
Council on or before the day of 1964,

The Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Biscuits) Order, 1964, made by the Admin-
istrator under section 8 (1) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1950 (No.9
of 1950). ;

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited
as the Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Biscuits) Order, 1964.

2. Declaration of Biscuits to be a
Pioneer Industry. The manufacture of
Biscuits is hereby declared to be a pioneer industry
for the purpose of the Aid to pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1950, and the following products

Soda biscuits

Sweet biscuits

Crackers
are hereby declared to be pioneer products for the
said purposes.

Made by the Administrator acting in accord-
ance with the advice of the Executive Council this

It is notified for general information
that Her Majesty the Queen has ap-
proved the appointment of Mr. H.
BURROWES, Senior Magistrate in
Antigua, to act as Administrator,
British Virgin Islands during the
absence on leave of the substantive
Administrator, Mr. M. 8. STAVELEY,
C.B.E.

Mr. STAVELEY will be proceeding
on vacation leave on 29th June, 1964,
and Mr. and Mrs. BURROWES will be
leaving Antigua for Tortola on 27th
June, 1964.

Mr. BURROWES will be returning
to Antigua to resume his substantive
appointment on or about 29th Sep-
tember, 1964.

Due to a higher price for this year’s
crop of M. 8. I. Sea Island Cotton on
the United Kingdom market, a higher
bonus of approximately ldc. per Ib.
will be paid to cotton growers towards
the end of the year.

The first payment on the next cotton
crop 1964-1965 is expected to be 2dc.
per lb. for clean seed cotton.

Insurance of Government
Motor Vehicle

Tenders are invited for the com-
prehensive insurance coverage of all
Government owned motor vehicles
for the period 15th July 1964 to 14th
July, 1965. There are Approximately
100 motor vehicles including trailers
and Cane Carts.

2. The contract of insurance must
provide that where coverage is given
during the currency of the Policy it
will expire on the termination of the
Policy and in such case for an adjust-
ment of the appropriate premium to
be made.

be insured will be supplied on appli-
cation to the Ministry of Public
Works and communicatious, Admin-

moved from the Queen’s Warehouse
within three months will be sold by
Public Auction at the Point Ware-
house on Thursday 25th June, 1964,
at 2.30 p.m.
