pointment to the post of Matron,
Charge Nurse, Leper Home, Medical
Department.

Appointment:
The post is pensionable and is
subject to three years proba-
tion. The Officer will be sub-
ject to Colonial Regulations
and Statutory Rules and Or-
ders and General Orders in
force in the Colony from time
to time. The appointment will
be subject to physical fitness.

Salary:

She shall reside at the Home.
She shall attend to the inmates
in Accordance with the in-
structions of the Medical Offi-
cer (Institutions). She shall
have the nursing care of the
inmates of the Home. She
will be in charge of the feinale
staff of the Home, and see that
they discharge their duties
satisfactorily. She will Super-
vise the cooking and serving to
the food forthe inmates and
staff. She shall be responsible
for all the stores issued to her
by the Master. When on duty
she shall wear nniform. when
the master is absent trom the
institution she will be in
charge of the Home.

Qualifications:
The candidate must be a quali-
fied nurse.

Leave:
Vacation leave will be granted

at the rate of 36 calender days

stores, clothing, and the like,
and for all deficiencies in the
sane. He shall regularly
‘superintend the issue of food,
and shall take cure that it ig
whilesome and good and in
accordance with the prescribed
dietary scale.
He shall endeavour to promote
economy and prevent waste.
He shall be responsible for the
carrring out of the instructions
of the M.0O. (I) regarding the
sanitation of the Home. He
shall keep the accounts of the
Home and the following books:
Tho Register of Inmates, the
Daily Journal; the Storebook
(provisions) the Storebook
(other stores; the Visitor’s
Bock. He shall make out all
vouchers and L. P. O’s in con-
nection with the Home. He
will have the control and care
of the generating plant.

He will pay the staff, and draw
the money for that purpose.

Leave:
Vacation leave willbe granted

The Betting and Gaming (General Control of Gaming Pre-
mises) (Amendment) Regulations, 1964, dated the 8th
day of January, 1964, made by the Administrator in
Council under section 5 of the Betting and Gaming
Ordinance, 1968, (No. 10 of 1968).

1. Short title These Regulations may be cited as the
Betting and Gaming (General Control of Gaming Premises)
(Amendment) Regulations, 1964, and shall be read as one with
the Betting and Gaming (General Control of Premises) Regula-
tions, 1963, 35/1963. & 38/1963, hereinafter called the principal
Regulations.

2. Amendment of Regulation 17 of principal
Regulations. Regulation 17 of the principal Regulation
shall have effect as if for the words “three o’clock in the morn-
ing and half past seven” in paragraph 7 of that Regulation there
were substituted the words “four o’clock in the morning and
nine”’.

Made by the Administrator in accordance with the advice
of the Executive Council this 8th day of January, 1964.

Charge Nurse, Leper Home, Medical

they discharge their duties
satisfactorily. She will Super-
vise the cooking and serving to
the food forthe inmates and
staff. She shall be responsible
for all the stores issued to her
by the Master. When on duty
she shall wear nniform. when
the master is absent trom the
institution she will be in
charge of the Home.

Qualifications:
The candidate must be a quali-
fied nurse.

Leave:
Vacation leave will be granted

at the rate of 36 calender days
per year.

Free quarters and food are pro-
vided.

dietary scale.
He shall endeavour to promote
economy and prevent waste.
He shall be responsible for the
carrring out of the instructions
of the M.0O. (I) regarding the
sanitation of the Home. He
shall keep the accounts of the
Home and the following books:
Tho Register of Inmates, the
Daily Journal; the Storebook
(provisions) the Storebook
(other stores; the Visitor’s
Bock. He shall make out all
vouchers and L. P. O’s in con-
nection with the Home. He
will have the control and care
of the generating plant.

He will pay the staff, and draw
the money for that purpose.

Leave:

The Betting and Gaming (General Control of Gaming Pre-
mises) (Amendment) Regulations, 1964, dated the 8th
day of January, 1964, made by the Administrator in
Council under section 5 of the Betting and Gaming
Ordinance, 1968, (No. 10 of 1968).

1. Short title These Regulations may be cited as the
Betting and Gaming (General Control of Gaming Premises)
(Amendment) Regulations, 1964, and shall be read as one with
the Betting and Gaming (General Control of Premises) Regula-
tions, 1963, 35/1963. & 38/1963, hereinafter called the principal
Regulations.

2. Amendment of Regulation 17 of principal
Regulations. Regulation 17 of the principal Regulation
shall have effect as if for the words “three o’clock in the morn-
ing and half past seven” in paragraph 7 of that Regulation there
were substituted the words “four o’clock in the morning and
nine”’.

Made by the Administrator in accordance with the advice
of the Executive Council this 8th day of January, 1964.
