of Mr. D. J. Rost, M.B.4E., lately
Federal Defence Officer in the former
Federation of the West Indies, as
Administrator, Antigua, in succession
to Mr. I. G. TURBOTT, C.M.G.
Itis expected that Mr. TuRBOTT
and Mr. Rose will take up their new
appointments in late February or
early March.

pointment to the post of Matron,
Charge Nurse, Leper Home, Medical

Appointment:
The post is pensionable and is
subject to three years proba-
tion. The Officer will be sub-
ject to Colonial Regulations
and Statutory Rules and Or-
ders and General Orders in

be subject to physical fitness.

Duties of Post:
She shall reside at the Home.
She shall attend to the inmates
in Accordance with the in-
structions of the Medical Offi-
cer (Institutions). She shall
have the nursing care of the
inmates of the Home. She
will be in charge of the female
stuff of the Home, and see that
they discharge their duties
satisfactorily. She will Super-
vise the cooking and serving of
the food forthe inmates and
staff. She shall be responsible
for all the stores issued to her
by the Master. When on duty
she shall wear uniform. when
the master is absent from the
institution she will be in

Proclamation dated 3rd January, 1964 appointing a Session
of the Legislative Council of the Colony.

A PROCLAMATION.

Administrator.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsection
(1) of section 25 of the Antigua Constitution and Elections
Ordinance, 1951, a amended, the Administrator by procla-
mation dated the 21st day of December, 1968, prorogued the
Legislative Council of the Colony of Antigua until such fur-
ther time as may be appointed, by proclamation made in accord-
ance with the provisions of section 18 of the said Ordinance,
for the first sitting in the next session of the said Council:
AND WHEREAS it is provided by subsection (1) of
section 18 of the said Ordinance that the sessions of the suid
Couneil should be held at such times and places as the Admin-
istrator may appoint by proclamation published in the
Gazette:
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that a session of the
said Council for the year 1964 should be beld in the Legislative
Council Chambers, St. John’s, Antigua, and should commence
on Saturday the 4th day of January, 1964 at 11 0’ clock in
the forenoon.
NOW, THEREFORE, i, Ian Graham Turbott, a Com-
panion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Administrator of the Cclony of Antigua, by
virtue of the powers vested in me under section 18 of the
Antigua Constitution and Elections Ordinance, 1951, as amend-
ed, and all other powers thereunto me enabling, do by this my
proclamation appoint a session of the Legislative Council of
Antigua to be held in the vear 1964 in the Legislative Council
Chambers in the City of Saint John, and Saturday the 4th day
of January, 1964 at 11 ©’ clock in the forenoon as the time at
which the first sitting of the said session shall commence.

Proclamation dated 3rd January, 1964 appointing a Session
of the Legislative Council of the Colony.
BY THE ADMINISTRATOR,
A PROCLAMATION.

Administrator.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsection
(1) of section 25 of the Antigua Constitution and Elections
Ordinance, 1951, a amended, the Administrator by procla-
mation dated the 21st day of December, 1968, prorogued the
Legislative Council of the Colony of Antigua until such fur-
ther time as may be appointed, by proclamation made in accord-
ance with the provisions of section 18 of the said Ordinance,
for the first sitting in the next session of the said Council:
AND WHEREAS it is provided by subsection (1) of
section 18 of the said Ordinance that the sessions of the suid
Couneil should be held at such times and places as the Admin-
istrator may appoint by proclamation published in the
Gazette:
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that a session of the
said Council for the year 1964 should be beld in the Legislative
Council Chambers, St. John’s, Antigua, and should commence
on Saturday the 4th day of January, 1964 at 11 0’ clock in
the forenoon.
NOW, THEREFORE, i, Ian Graham Turbott, a Com-
panion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Administrator of the Cclony of Antigua, by
virtue of the powers vested in me under section 18 of the
Antigua Constitution and Elections Ordinance, 1951, as amend-
ed, and all other powers thereunto me enabling, do by this my
proclamation appoint a session of the Legislative Council of
Antigua to be held in the vear 1964 in the Legislative Council
Chambers in the City of Saint John, and Saturday the 4th day
of January, 1964 at 11 ©’ clock in the forenoon as the time at
which the first sitting of the said session shall commence.
