As a result of the enactment of Exchange Control legislation in British Guiana, movements of currency notes by travellers from that
Territory to other Territories participating in the Currency Agreement appear to have become abnormal since 1962 and the circulation iu some
Territories, on the basis of issues less withdrawals, adjusted to take account of Bank transfers, has in consequence become unrealistic and in
fact misleading.

As a result of the enactment of Exchange Control legislation in British Guiana, movements of currency notes by travellers from that
Territory to other Territories participating in the Currenoy Agreement appear to have become abnormal iince 1962 and the circulation in some
Territories, on the basis of issues less withdrawals, adjusted to take account of Bank transfers, has in consequence become unrealistic and in
fact misleading.
