Ordinance, 1959 No. 7 of 1959, the

Tar Stamps (Freepom rrom Hunexr Campaign) ORDER,
1963, patep 15TH May 1963, MADE By THE ADMINIS-
TRATOR IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTIONS 4 AND 5 OF THE
Stamp Act (Cap. 135).

[Gazetted 16th May, 1963.)

J. Short title. This Order may be cited as the
Stamps (Freedom from Hunger Campaign) Urder, 1963.

2. Interpretation. In this Order the expression
“stamps”? means adhesive stamps for posting and revénue.

3. Special Stamp. There shall be used throughout
the Colony a special stamp of the value of 12 cents during the
period commencing from the 4th day of June, 1963 to the 3rd
day of September, 1963 inclusive, or until the stock is exhausted,
whichever date is the earlier, to commemorate freedom from
hunger campaign. ,

4. Design. The design of the spccial stamp authorised
by this Order shall be as specified in the Schedule hereto.

5. Dies and Residues. The several dies and other
implements required to give effect to this Order shall be provided,
and the same shall be destroved, together with the residue
Whatsvever of the stock of the stump hereby authorised, as soon
as practicable after the 3rd day of September, 1963.

6. Commencement. This Order shall come into
operation on the 4th day of June, 1963.

Made by the Administrator acting in accordance with the
advice of the Executive Council this 15th day of May, 1963.

SCHEDULE.

The design of the stamp hereby authorised features a
portrait of Her Majesty the Queen in the top left corner with
the denomination immediately below, the word ‘“ Antigua ”
written across the bottom, a symbolic representation of protein
foods (fish, bird, meat, fruit and grain) surmounted on a globe
in the centre, with the symbol of three ears of wheat near the
top right corner and the words Freedom From Hunger ”
written vertically on the extreme right.

1963, patep 15TH May 1963, MADE By THE ADMINIS-
TRATOR IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTIONS 4 AND 5 OF THE
Stamp Act (Cap. 135).

[Gazetted 16th May, 1963.)

J. Short title. This Order may be cited as the
Stamps (Freedom from Hunger Campaign) Urder, 1963.

2. Interpretation. In this Order the expression
“stamps”? means adhesive stamps for posting and revénue.

3. Special Stamp. There shall be used throughout
the Colony a special stamp of the value of 12 cents during the
period commencing from the 4th day of June, 1963 to the 3rd
day of September, 1963 inclusive, or until the stock is exhausted,
whichever date is the earlier, to commemorate freedom from
hunger campaign. ,

4. Design. The design of the spccial stamp authorised
by this Order shall be as specified in the Schedule hereto.

5. Dies and Residues. The several dies and other
implements required to give effect to this Order shall be provided,
and the same shall be destroved, together with the residue
Whatsvever of the stock of the stump hereby authorised, as soon
as practicable after the 3rd day of September, 1963.

6. Commencement. This Order shall come into
operation on the 4th day of June, 1963.

Made by the Administrator acting in accordance with the
advice of the Executive Council this 15th day of May, 1963.
