CUCURBIT VARIETY EVALUATION
1983
AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH CENTER, LEESBURG

G.W. ELMSTROM, CENTER DIRECTOR

Included in these evaluations are pickling cucumbers,
slicing cucumbers, muskmelons, winter squash, and water-
melons grown at the ARC, Leesburg. Yields, especially
those in the fall, were reduced by a relatively new virus
disease, Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus. This has the po-
tential of being a devastating disease on cucurbits in
Florida and elsewhere.
