THE HUMANITIES
C-5 The Humanities (Prof. J. D. Glunt, Chairman, P-209)
Explanation of Schedule for C-5
The schedule for the Humanities is given in two forms. The first form is a
composite schedule, from which the student must choose one lecture section.
(either 51 or 52) and one recitation section. Having determined the number of
the lecture section and the number of the recitation section, the student will
turn to the second form. He will fill in the room number for each hour from the
second form. Notice that the second form gives information as to whether the
class meets in even or odd weeks, and information as to the field to be studied
each day, either in lecture or in recitation. The schedule to be complete must
include one lecture every two weeks for Art; one lecture and one recitation
every two weeks for History; one lecture and one recitation every two weeks for
Literature; one lecture every two weeks for Music; and one lecture and one re-
citation every two weeks for Philosophy. This should account for eight meetings
every two weeks.
