My Dear Sir:

I have the honor to submit herewith the
financial report for the year ending June 30, 1942.

This report is summarized and includes
a balance sheet with supporting schedules for the
University, Experiment Station, Agricultural Exten-
sion and other subsidiary departments and divisions.

It is set up, as far as practical, in
accordance with the general plan for institutional
accounting as recommended by the National Committee
on Standard Reports for Institutions of Higher
Learning.

CONDENSED SUMMARY

INCOME
he income for Educational and General purposes during, 1041 42 amounted
to $2,586,297.66 and was derived from sources itemized in Schedule B-1. This
amount represents the principal income of the University, Experiment Station, and
Extension Division. A comparison of income from the same sources during 1940- 41
is also included.
