Abstract:
Columnist Ian McDonad rates the staging of CARIFESTA X as a "splendid and significant success." He further comments that there were "unforgettable readings" by celebrated West Indian writers, displays of national treasures that were "nothing less than remarkable." He concludes that in the current context of crisis and uncertainty, "CARIFESTA X came at the right time." ( English )
