- The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
- General Note:
- This former great house in Montego Bay, Saint James, Jamaica was originally owned by the Dewar family in the 1700s. The Dewar family is related to the Scottish family who own Dewar Whiskey. The inn holds one of the largest collections of artwork by Barrington Watson. The hotel features Roman columns. Slide labeled Richmond Hill Hotel Montego Bay.
