- Moore Town Primary and Junior High School girl dressed in a pink and blue school uniform. In the distance is a river and houses in Portland, Jamaica. Inhabitants of Moore Town are descendants of Maroons, escaped slaves who were able to maintain some aspects of their African cultures. Slide labeled Jam. Moore Town.
