The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
General Note:
The Blue Mountains, Jamaica’s longest mountain range, covers three parishes: Saint Andrew, Saint Thomas, and Portland. Blue Mountain Peak is the highest point in Jamaica at 2,702 feet (2,256 meters). The Blue Mountains are the site of Jamaica's first National Park and known for its coffee production. Slide labeled Blue Mts.
