General Note:
The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
General Note:
A woman is standing at the arched entrance of this building, which has a breadfruit tree growing nearby. As of 2013, this building, which has Caribbean Georgian architectural elements, has been the home of the Pottery Studio. For many years, the building has held the studio for Jamaican potter David Pinto, whose work is part of the permanent collection of The National Gallery of Jamaica.
